The Annual Crosstie Arts and Jazz Festival, a juried fine arts show, will feature hundreds of exhibitors displaying paintings, sculpture, pottery, fabric and paper designs, hand-made furniture and jewelry.
High quality handcrafts will be offered in a marketplace setting. Road races for young and old, an extensive area just for children, live entertainment, a delicious variety of regional foods, and friendly people combine to make a most enjoyable day.
Greetings from the Mississippi Delta! On behalf of the Crosstie Arts Council, I would like to personally invite you to participate in the Crosstie Arts & Jazz Festival this year. Each year, we transform the Bolivar County Courthouse lawn into a juried fine arts show featuring hundreds of exhibitors displaying paintings, sculpture, pottery, fabric and paper designs, hand-made furniture, jewelry, and much more. With a multitude of activities and live music surrounding the art, Crosstie pulls in hundreds of visitors from Cleveland and the surrounding areas. Persons are eligible to exhibit by invitation only.
With the exception of current members of the Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, or Arkansas Craftsman's Guilds, who shall be accepted in their categories, all applicants must send slide or photo examples of their work for review.
All applicants must contain the completed application, a check for the entry fee, and a legal-sized stamped self-addressed envelope for reply. Acceptances will be sent in a timely manner.
If accepted, our signed application is considered a commitment to show. There will be no refunds of entry fees.
Only original works by the exhibitor will be accepted for display and competition.
Only work in listed categories may be exhibited.
The Festival Committee reserves the right to limit the number of exhibitors in a category.
A fee of $75 reserves a 10’ by 12’ space and allows for competition pieces in any combination of the listed categories.

Exhibitors who require electrical service must specify their needs in advance on the application form. Electrical service is limited and not guaranteed.
Exhibitors may report to the Crosstie Festival Booth on Friday at 1 pm or Saturday at 6 am for reserved space assignment. Exhibitors are responsible for any equipment necessary to display their work, which must be in place by the time the judging begins at 9 am.
An alternate location is secured for inclement weather.
Applications will be screened and accepted as long as space remains available; however, potential exhibitors should apply as soon as possible to ensure acceptance and location.
Exhibitors and guests will receive an invitation to Crosstie Patron’s Party on Friday night.

Your organization is invited to participate in the concessions area of the 49th Annual Crosstie Arts & Jazz Festival on Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The festival site is on the grounds of the Bolivar County Courthouse in Cleveland. There will be a location change in the case of inclement weather. Reservations will be accepted on a first come-first served basis.
(Any booth or trailer that is significantly larger will pay an additional fee.)
(Non-Profit group with limited sales such as bake sales, cotton candy, etc.)

Because of space limitations and the Festival Committee's desire to have a variety of foods, we reserve the right to restrict both the type and number of concession booths. In the event of duplication of food items offered, the following priorities shall be observed:
1. Non-profit vendors shall have priority over commercial vendors.
2. Local vendors shall have priority over out-of-county vendors.
* Please note that your reservation can only be secured with the payment of your fee. No fees will be taken the day of the festival.
The Festival will be held on the Courthouse grounds weather permitting, but there is a rain location if needed. If accepted, your application is considered a commitment to participate. There will be no refund of fees. Once your application is accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter. If your application is not accepted, your fees will be returned to you.
